Thank you for choosing me! But first of all if you can make sure to read the following info before booking in with me.

Flash or Custom

Almost all of my illustrations can be tattooed, and there is specifically an IG story dedicated to ‘Flash’ designs. As the common name would suggest, all flash designs are repeatable however if you require the piece to be unique with your own elements then this constitutes as a Custom.

I can also do Custom designs however these require more time and flexibility, I will only work on a design once a deposit has been made and no more than 48hrs before your allocated session. That way you will be able to make minor tweaks before your tattoo and also I will not be dedicating all my time to your design. Both are only booked through my booking system in allocated times throughout the year

Pricing/Budget

A minimum deposit of £100 is required at Yuzu Space, and you will be prompted to pay this on the booking system in order to complete your booking and secure your slot. Your deposit is non refundable. Any reschedules, a new deposit is required.

My flash designs will not be below £200 and custom work is specific to each scenario. If you provide info on all of the above, I will be able to give you a quote.

Size

As previously mentioned, I will try to give you your desired size but please trust that I will advise the best size for the design you want. Tattoos when healing, can change from how they look when fresh. Therefore some tattoos lend better to having more room to breathe and provide a better heal.

Please get out a ruler and go to a mirror to have a look at your preferred size and state in cm or inches.

Please try not to say ‘small’ or ‘palm size’ etc as this is very vague and open to interpretation.

Hand-poke or Machine

Hand-poking is a traditional and simplistic method that dates back to around 400BC. It is basically the act of using just a needle and ink to slowly place a series of dots in the skin to form lines. Please note this method takes a lot longer than machine therefore smaller tattoos are suited for this technique. It can also produce a slightly different aesthetic to machine, as it is more organic and handmade.

Machine – I have been machine tattooing for 2.5 years now and would recommend for my heavily coloured flash work for better saturation. If you are after more detailed elaborate designs, I would also recommend machine. It is highly dependent on preference, but it can take less time to complete larger scale work therefore some people prefer this over hand-poked processes.

Black or Colour Ink

I work to a specific colour palette in my flash designs, so please specify if you would like it as per or changed.

Otherwise black ink means just solely black (& grey where necessary)

Placement

Don’t worry! This can be confirmed on the day as the stencil will be placed on you and you will have adequate time to make sure you are happy with the placement before anything happens! But please make sure to state the approx area you are thinking about having tattooed so I have it in record!

What happens next?

Once you have found yourself a slot on my booking system and paid the deposit, that’s your spot secured! No further info will be required unless I find info missing from the form and I will contact you closer to your booking.

DMs and emails outside of this booking system will not be accepted sadly. I hope you can understand that the admin side of booking also equates to time, effort and work. DMs are for very personal interactions and I hope you can respect my space and policies.

CANCELLATION POLICY

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Deposits are non-refundable (on the grounds of insuring I am covered for that day)

Deposits are also non transferable to a different day. Should you be able to give several months notice and that I have availability, out of goodwill I can reschedule once but this is circumstantial.

I hope you can understand that deposits are a security measure for a lot of hospitality businesses and you can appreciate it is a livelihood.

TATTOO AFTERCARE

After your tattoo, I normally apply a thin adhesive sheet called Second Skin (or if you prefer cling wrap), I would normally advise to leave this on for up to 48hrs. You can shower with this on as well if needed. Once removed, give your tattoo a warm soapy wash and leave to dry naturally. Your skin needs to be allowed to heal and run it’s natural course, so contrary to popular belief, try not to slather it in too much product as this can sometimes block your pores.

Any natural creams such as cocoa butter, hemp butter, coconut oil are good for the healing phases. Avoid any air tight based products such as Vaseline or petroleum jelly. If you don’t have access to either of these products it is also fine to use drugstore creams such as Aveeno, E45 and gentle alternatives. Also please do not use any antiseptic creams like Savlon or Sudocrem as these are incredibly triggering to fresh tattoos and can cause damage to the way the ink heals.

Ultimately the tattoo needs to dry out and peel, and the moisturising agent is there to soothe the skin to avoid cracking of the surface when it becomes tight and itchy. Each of my customers will receive an aftercare card on the day of their tattoo.
